The NO's Movie Critic; Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
I know it's been a couple of weeks since my last movie review, but I'm back again and here to bring you my thoughts on Disney's newest live action movie, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which is based off of the video game of the same name and stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton. The film hits theaters Friday May 28.
I had the opportunity to go to the midnight premiere of Iron Man 2 today and thought it would a great idea to sit here at my computer at 2:30 AM, on a work night and bring you my exclusive review on Marvel's latest installment of one of my favorite Super Heroes, Iron Man. Iron Man brings the return of Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark and Gweneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and brings a new old character to the scene with Don Cheadle playing the role of James "Rhodey" Rhodes in this film. Also Scarlett Johannson and Mickey Rourke join the cast as Natasha "The Black Widow" Romanoff and Ivan Vanko respectively, and the film was again directed by Jon Favreau which opens May 7.
The NO's Movie Critic; A Nightmare on Elm Street
So it's Monday and the weekend is over and what a weekend it was. I got the chance to go and check out and review New Line's newest installment of A Nightmare on Elm Street, which stars Jackie Earle Haley (The Watchmen, Human Target), Kyle Gallner (Jennifer's Body), Rooney Mara, Katie Cassidy (Supernatural, Melrose Place), Thomas Dekker (The Sarah Connor Chronicles), and Kellan Lutz (Twilight Saga).
So it's Monday, meaning the weekend is over and another work/school week has begun for the rest of us. However, since the weekend is over, that means that I must have gone to the movies on Friday and will review The Losers, which stars Jeffery Dean Morgan (The Watchmen), Columbus Short (Accepted, Stomp the Yard), Chris Evans (The Fantastic Four, Push), and Zoe Saldana (Star Trek). It opened on Friday April 23!
It seems that another weekend has come and gone, which can only mean one thing, it's time once again for another exciting weekly review from the The NO's movie critic, yours truly. This week I had the opportunity to go and see the movie remake of the comic book Kick-Ass, which stars Nicholas Cage, Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and pretty much the star of the movie in my opinion, Chloe Grace Morentz who plays Hit-Girl. The film opened on Friday April 16.
It seems that another weekend has come and gone, which can only mean one thing, it's time once again for another exciting weekly review from the The NO's movie critic, yours truly. This week I had the opportunity to go and see the highly anticipated remake of Clash of the Titans, which stars Liam Neeson (who everyone that views this site and is a fan of Star Wars knows as Qui-Gon Jinn) as the God of Thunder Zeus and Sam Worthington (Terminator: Salvation) as his demi-god son Perseus. The film opened on Friday April 2.

This week I had the opportunity to go and see Kevin Smith directed, Cop Out starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan, which opened on Friday February 26. Directed by Kevin Smith, Cop Out features two longtime NYPD partners on the trail of a stolen, rare, mint condition baseball card who find themselves up against a merciless, memorabilia-obsessed gangster.
Another short and exciting weekend has come and gone, which can only mean one thing, it's time once again for another exciting weekly review from the The NO's movie critic, yours truly. This week I had the opportunity to go and see The Crazies starring Timothy Olyphant, which opened on Friday February 26. The movie was a remake of the George Romero film of the same name that released in 1973.
