Yakuza fans can rejoice today as SEGA has announced Yakuza 4 for the US. Formerly released only in Japan, SEGA felt that it's western customers would be just as delighted to have the title for themselves. Read more for details.

The action-adventure game Yakuza 4 is soon to make it's US debut according to the SEGA America Blog. In a post today they described details of the release including game changes to the series. Known as "Ryū ga Gotoku 4" or "Like a Dragon 4" in japan, this chapter in the Yakuza series will contain three new characters with unique fighting styles for each of them.

They all have connections to the Tojo clan – but what those connections are, and what they mean with regard to a man named Kazuma Kiryu, is just one part of what will truly make things interesting. - RubyEclipse of the SEGA America Blog

Yakuza 4 is also slated to be a Playstation 3 exclusive. The release date is set for spring of 2011 but SEGA is giving fans the chance to ask the game's producer, Tashihiro Nagoshi, about Yakuza 4 at this year's E3. The SEGA America Blog asks that you post below their announcement for a chance to hear your question asked at E3.
