EA and Maxis Present Darkspore

Earlier in the week, Maxis announced their next project titled Darkspore. Darkspore is a sci-fi action role-playing game that sets players against mutated forces to save the galaxy. Set to launch in February 2011, its design is based on the award-winning creature editor utilized in Maxis’ previous game, Spore. The team is drawing on their vast video game experience combined with the creature editor to make limitless customizations for the player.

Formerly known as Project Mercury, Reckoning takes players on an RPG adventure through a brand-new fantasy world created by R.A.
