When one  hears the words The Men Who Stare At Goats, images of either the absurd or the anthropological (or both) may conjure themselves in one's mind. Absurd? Yes, but not in the way one might surmise from watching the film's trailer. Anthropological? Well, we'll come to that later.  This is where I'm supposed to write a brief, thetical statement about the film in question, but I can't. In fact, I can't even say that The Men Who Stare At Goats is about men who stare at goats. It's not.
